SitterNestTerms and refunds
Effective October 8, 2026 · United States
These terms describe the conditions for using SitterNest, a household care coordination and recordkeeping service for adults. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Contact SitterNest at casey.brodbeck1995@gmail.com.
Your account and household
You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information, and protect your password and recovery key. Use only information and content you are authorized to share. Parents create households, invite adults, set care plans, and manage rates and financial corrections. Sitters follow the plan, record care and task outcomes, share notes, manage their own shifts and child counts, and view their own calculated earnings.
Parents are responsible for deciding whom to invite and for the accuracy and suitability of care and medication instructions. Keep access limited to trusted, authorized adults, and remove access when it is no longer needed.
Care and earnings records
SitterNest organizes records entered by adults. It does not hire or screen sitters, supervise children, provide medical advice, administer medication, or provide an emergency response service. Parents and sitters must communicate directly about urgent or important care.
Reminders and notifications depend on the available app features, device permissions, browser support, connectivity, and delivery services. Delivery and timing are not guaranteed. Confirm important instructions directly with the caregiver.
Calculated earnings use parent-set hourly or daily amounts, recorded time and child counts, and household rounding rules. Review the totals and correct errors. These records do not determine legal wages or employment status. Parents and sitters arrange actual wages and payments separately; SitterNest does not transfer sitter wages or handle payroll or taxes for the care arrangement.
Household subscriptions
If your household has pilot access, that access is free. Opening an account or joining an invitation does not authorize a charge.
When offered at checkout, parents may purchase one household subscription for $9.99 USD per month or $99 USD per year. Invited sitters join free. The household subscription pays for SitterNest and is separate from sitter wages. The price, billing interval, and any applicable taxes are displayed before purchase.
A purchased subscription renews automatically at its monthly or annual interval until renewal is canceled. The household billing owner authorizes the payment at checkout and manages the subscription through Stripe. No free-trial duration or payment-failure grace period is promised unless explicitly offered at purchase.
Cancellation and refunds
The billing owner can cancel renewal in Settings → Manage subscription using Stripe’s customer portal. Cancellation stops the next renewal; paid access continues through the paid period shown in the portal. Cancel renewal before the next payment is due. Removing the app, signing out, removing a sitter, or deleting an account is not the cancellation method.
Canceling renewal does not itself issue a refund. Refund requests are reviewed case by case. Email casey.brodbeck1995@gmail.com with your account email, payment date, and a brief explanation. Do not include full card details or your password. Applicable legal refund rights remain available.
Your content and permitted use
You keep your rights in the content you provide. You give SitterNest permission to store, process, display, and share it as needed to operate the service for your authorized household, subject to the Privacy Policy. Do not use SitterNest for unlawful activity, unauthorized sharing of someone’s personal information, harassment, impersonation, attempts to access another household, or interference with the service.
Ending access and preserving records
You can request account deletion in Settings. Shared household records can remain under parent control after an adult account is deleted. The owner can delete the household and its records. The app may require a subscription to finish or an open checkout to expire before household deletion. Review or export the available records you need before deleting the household.
We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, security issues, legal requirements, or a violation of these terms. Contact support if you believe access was restricted in error.
Availability, changes, and your rights
The service may be interrupted or contain errors. Features can change as the app develops. We will provide notice of material subscription or policy changes and obtain consent when required by law. You should maintain any separate care or financial records you need.
Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or remedies that applicable law requires. Questions, billing issues, or complaints can be sent to casey.brodbeck1995@gmail.com.
